This is the first photographic poem we received with its illustration.
It is from Mike Foldes, the creator of this amazing American virtual magazine: Ragazine.cc.
Its title: that was then
the transparencies had been expected,
images of another time when we were
young, naked and unafraid.
not the kind of photographs
you want to share with strangers.
or your children.
pulled from the slide sheets,
they sat collected in a bag
until the decision was made.
the ash of their cremation
settled on newfallen snow.
the smoke was intoxicating.
and then i was alone again.
