From March 10 to 13, the MIA Photo Fair is being held in Milano. Founded in 2011 and directed by Fabio Castelli and Lorenza Castelli, the fair gathered 24,000 visitors back in 2016, wondering around 80 galleries. The 2017 edition increases in size, nearly 90 galleries are present, honoring Brazil, Hungary and the Principality of Asturias.
Four awards are also granted during the fair: the BNL Paribas Group Award, the Codice MIA, the RAM Sarteano Award and the Proposta MIA Award.
