The International Center of Photography this week announced the appointment of Mark Lubell as its new CEO, he will take his function immediately . Two weeks ago, we learned that Mark Robbins had left that post after a year at the head of this New York photographic institution.
Mark Lubell was director of Magnum from 2004 to 2011, he directed its restructuring by supporting several projects in line with the new technologies and the current online market. Recruiting Mark Lubell, ICP adopts an experienced man, praised for his management skills and his vision of photography. In 2007, he was named “Innovator of the Year” by American Photo magazine for his avant-garde approach of multimedia and online communities.
