Following Polaroids From NYC to New Orleans, Marion Dubier-Clark continues her road trip with Polaroids From San Francisco to Los Angeles.
San Francisco, Yosemite Park, Death Valley, Las Vegas, Kingman, Route 66, Palm Springs, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles—what images do you see when you hear the names of these cities?
Polaroids and a peculiar vision of the United States are the ingredients in the seductive cocktail that is Marion Dubier-Clark’s new book.
“Every day I have three loves and a passion that keep me alive: Photography,” explains Dubier-Clark. “I sell my expertise to magazine, I exhibit my Polaroids, and after the success of my last books, I decided not to keep my readers waiting. My first book covered the East Coast of America, and this one covers the West Coast. In a way I’ve come full circle. Travel is the common thread that links my work together. I step out of my daily life to find myself out on roads, wondering, discovering, never knowing where I’m headed.”
Marion Dubier-Clark is a French photographer. Polaroids From San Francisco to Los Angeles is her third self-published book.
