The journey is all about noise, desire, smells, faces and images. Everything starts from the noise of the suitcase when I close it, ready to be embarked on new destinations.
When the present seems obvious to me, I invest in a trip, looking for a future that seems certain, tangible.
With a mixture of nervousness, fear and desire to discover, I leave the known for the unknown.
I look for the source of my happiness and always ends up in the research for stranger’s faces, who unaware, catches my attention, I try to capture the moment, immortalized in a shot and then move on. Photographing them means for me, trying to imagine the story, the daily battles, the frustrations and the joys.
These photos were taken in different cities: New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and my Venice, they do not have a chronological order, so they follow chaos, just like when I get lost in their streets, without pre-established maps or itineraries.
