Trained at the EFET school of photography, Marion Dubier-Clark perfected her photography in portrait and landscape art through various trips, notably to the United States, Japan and Cuba.
Her work focuses on the notion of Territory and the stories that are part of it, nostalgia can be read through her photos, through her edited books, like initiatory journeys. She makes Fine Art prints for individuals but also for the BNF photo archives, and exhibits in Paris, her city of residence. The relationship with old, manual and immediate photographic processes through the polaroid, in particular that she is particularly fond of, gives meaning to her broader approach of Plasticienne. The artisanal mastery of prints is an inseparable know-how of her work.
Having followed a training course in leather goods (BEP in Graulhet), she has been returning for a few years to her roots with Embroidery by intervening on her prints and giving them a new poetic dimension through this technique. It is on the images of her last trip to the United States that this work of alternative process will be presented.
Limited to edition of 8 with different embroideries.
