“Lost in Paradise” is the lastest series of Thai photographer Lek Kiatsirikajorn it focuses on rural workers who have left their region of origin to work and live in Bangkok. After months or years, some of them live in a no man’s land of peri-urban settlements where nature is starting to reassert its authority.
Lek Kiatsirikajorn has made a beautiful and intense “making of” video about the project and the people he met in the last two years working on “Lost in Paradise” in a country, Thailand, that in the last months lost, hopefully not permanently, its peace and quiet status due to political troubles.
Supported by the Quai Brainly Museum, Lost in Paradise will be showed for the first time in Bangkok on March 1st, after exhibitions in Paris and Hong Kong.
