Memory of a Future is a testimony to the lives of seniors in large housing developments in the Paris region. Designed after the war boom until the mid seventies ( The Glorious thirty 1945-1975) to solve demographic growth, rural migration and host an immigrant population while meeting the needs of modern conveniences, these neighborhoods are marginalized today.
Far from the media vision, fascinated by the both ambitious and antiquated modernism of these housing developments, Laurent Kronental was moved by the condition of these elders who have aged and represent to him the memory of these places.
