One of the most intriguing and seductive portfolios we saw this week is the work of Laurent Benaïm. We decided to publish it apart from our weekend feature, The Eye of the Readers.
Laurent Benaïm’s work examines sexualities.
While this theme is universal and timeless, in encompasses many variations. Benäim distances himself from aesthetic and pornographic criteria, so that “unconventional” sexual practices can express themselves freely. The shoots are always the result of requested meetings with non-professional models who want to express themselves through this artistic process. After freely exhibiting their desires, bodies and alternative sexual practices, the models, with the support of the photographer, let go.
Laurent Benaïm’s work examines sexualities while offering a form of freedom and enjoyment to explore “the Human.”
