The image she offers will not really be hers: triggered when she lets her thoughts drift, and distorted because the reflection is so particular, the image that remains is a sketch, an impression, which wants to be the fairest possible.
Between composition and spontaneity, between meditation and immediate action, the artist seeks to capture this moment when the subject escapes the image and thus gives to see another interpretation of the body, the portrait, the very essence of the subject.

L’image qu’il offre ne sera plus vraiment la sienne : déclenchée au moment où il laisse dériver ses pensées, et déformée parce reflet si particulier, l’image qui reste est une esquisse, une impression, qui se veut être la plus juste possible.
Entre composition et spontanéité, entre méditation et action immédiate, l’artiste cherche à saisir ce moment où le sujet échappe à son image et donne ainsi à voir une autre interprétation du corps, du portrait, de l’essence même du sujet.
