For insiders and guests, Paris Photo the opening is today at noon at the Grand Palais it will open tomorrow to the general public. The 128 galleries at the festival represent a veritable Who’s Who of the international photography scene. In less than two years, Julien Frydman has succeeded in making Paris Photo one of the most important art fairs in the world, a status which an upcoming Los Angeles extension of the festival (April 2013) will only strengthen. The next five days will be devoted entirely to him.
