The winner awarded best Kyotographie International Portfolio Review is Yuna Yagi
Born in 1980 in Kobe, Japan, Yuna Yagi studied Art and Design in New York and works with Shigeru Ban Architects in Tokyo. After several exhibitions in New York, she exhibited her work in KG+, KYOTOGRAPHIE Satellite event. Her exhibition, One-World and Collapsing World, is composed of two photographic installations: one is configured in the acrylic blocks, while the other is a video projection that uses the technique of the algorithm to visually fuse nature and the city. Architecturally composing the photos reflects the world in which we live. Beyond a certain dimension, nature and the artificial meld into one.
