Kristin Linnea Backe, living and working in Oslo, I don’t really like to tell my age, but I’m a so called grown up
I feel a bit presumptuous doing this, sending a series, even more so as the series is taken with my old phone camera (Nokia N95).
I have taken up photography again, after a long hiatus, when I among other things worked as a pianist, because of an absolute need to try to learn to see with a camera. When one of the first pictures I took after the hiatus was commended in International Garden Photographer of the year (http://www.igpoty.com ), I understood that I may in time be able to do this one way or another. I take photographs for my own pleasure as a way of talking, seeing, trying to understand what goes on around me and as a way to satisfy my need for ever-changing colour – which is impossible of course.
