Ionian Magic
A few recent boat trips really made their mark on my view of the European Seas. While the quintessential blue and white structures of the Cyclades are always featured in iconic Greek imagery, I knew there was more to be seen in the Ionian Sea. Having only heard of a few beautiful spots to visit on the Ionian side of Greece, like Milos and Paxos, I had no idea how much incredible beauty would unfold. Greece beholds countless hidden beaches and coves that are only accessible by boat. Each day we would explore new islands, and the variety of new landscapes and seascapes seemed endless. The water was calm and crisp, and I would wake up each morning surrounded by the most indescribably vibrant hues of blue. It was a thrill to access beaches and caves that many others have yet to experience and photograph. There are endless opportunities to create visually inspiring photographs that capture dreamy atmosphere of this foreign place. Small fishing villages, white cliffs and beaches, incredible food and welcoming people — Greece offers some of the warmest feelings anyone could experience in Europe.
