Juliette Jourdain’s love of art dates back to her childhood. Painting, cutting, folding, modeling, in short, playing with different materials, was her favorite pastime as a child, long before she decided to become a photographer—a career she prepared for in a three-year program at the École Française d’Enseignement Technique (EFET). She produces photographs the way one creates a painting, by attempting to depict the world of her imagination. Her baroque, essentially illustrative, universe is currently moving towards the creation of distinctive characters in the context of fashion.
