Julie Poncet is a photographic artist, born in 1982. After living for 5 years in Morocco as an agronomist, she turned to photography has dedicated herself to it, full-time, since 2013.
She draws her inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock, Edward Hopper, Wong Kar Wai, and Erwin Olaf. So the detective story and the opposition of colours have an important place in her creative process. Fiction, staging, and an atmosphere of vintage design are central to her narrative series. Each detail is important for her; each photo must distil clues that allow the observer not just to remain a simple spectator but also to be able to tell a story. These works have brought her to the attention of the Prix Picto for fashion the Bourse du talent 2014.
