Born in 1990, Julie Michelet spent her childhood in Burgundy, and showed her sensitivity by drawing, before specialising in photography, which allowed her to become aware of her desire for producing.
With a degree in Fine Arts from Rheims in 2013, she moved to Paris to do fashion photography. This allowed her to find a balance between her personal artistic vision and commercial work and to achieve strong artistic exchanges with passionate creative teams.
Julie Michelet’s pictures are electric, luminous, graphic and pictorial.
Since 2013, Julie Michelet has worked regularly for brands such as Misericordia, Maison Martin Morel, or even Les Mailles de Paris and has also had the opportunity to shoot images for Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, as well as for magazines like Fucking Young!, Paulette, OOB, Sicky and FunnyTastes.
In summer 2015, she produced her biggest commercial job when Eaux St Georges, in collaboration with Phillipe Starck, called on her for the creation of their new advertising campaign. This will appear on giant advertising hoardings all over Corsica and at the different airports on the island for the next three years. This first professional recognition has inspired her with strength and determination, leading her to participate in the Picto competition.
