“Construction in Progress” is a piece of artistic research carried out by the photographer Julie Hascoët and the illustrator Roméo Julien. This collaboration, to be in 7 sections (through 7 different cities) is on the theme of construction, transformations within the urban space, and comes in the form of installations and self-produced publications.
With this work, Julie Hascoët and Roméo Julien are creating a changeable visual atlas, recalling the memories of the cities. Marks, traces, cracks, ruins, destruction and reconstruction are at the heart of this research. The collection of works and the documents produced bring to mind a new archaeology, a geography in movement.
