The exhibition at the David Guiraud Gallery, from March 7 to April 13, 2019, brings together two talents and two techniques that complement each other, with the photographs of Joseph Caprio, who has been working for years on the body, and the drawings of Evelyne Postic , which she makes with ink on the prints.
Successful collaborations between artists are not common. The dialogue between JC and EP is productive and the mixture of their respective techniques in delicate balance give a new dimension to their work.
The black and muscular bodies photographed by Joseph Caprio are linked to the drawings of Evelyne Postic largely inspired by Africa but also by Voodoo. The result is an unexpected quality work where each print becomes a non-reproducible and unique work.
The exhibition includes nearly 30 digital prints made by Joseph Caprio on which is an original drawing by Evelyne Postic.
Three sizes are available, 30 x 45 cm, 40 x 60 cm and 60 x 90 cm.
