For me photography is about intimacy revealed. About searching personal fears in reality and transform them to something unreal, a big lie, a photograph. These images from my current project, viewable at kokovoko.info, are nothing more than a photodiary about all those fears.
I’m from Lleida, in Spain, where I live and do all my work. During more than a decade now I’ve been trying to bring my photography projects as closer to my reality as possible. So Lleida it’s not only my city but also my dreamed field of work. Actually there are photographers everywhere; everything is photographed and shared immediately, so it’s time to look to what is near, what others won’t show.
After working as a press photographer for many years, and with a commercial photography studio open now, my photography personal work is always trying to search in the visual limits of feelings and sensations, far from documentary although B&W style reminds of those photographers work.
