Baudoin Lebon presents from March 28th to May 19th, 2012 History of the White World, a selection of recent photographs by Joel-Peter Witkin.
He writes about it: “Joel-Peter Witkin continues his quest, daily and obsessively, of different beauty that is setup and reflects his own strangeness to the spectator. The artist presents his most recent work to us. Witkin traces the history of the Western world. His photographs are imprinted with diverse biblical and mythological stories. They also have touches of philosophical and literary references that he dramatizes by spreading more and more pronounced serenity.”
