In addition to the exhibition with his brother on the west coast, Joel-Peter Witkin has an exhibition at the Keitelman Gallery in Brussels. Joel-Peter Witkin creates photographs in his studio and outside in studio conditions, working with models whose bodies he subjects to a thorough examination, showing their sublime beauty and their inevitable decay. He shoots on film, to which he sometimes adds wax polish.
