Nablus Reframed
When we entered Nablus in 2007, it was raining rocks. We passed without being touched, we were not the target. A few minutes later, from my hotel room, I heard the sound of an AK47 for the first time in my life.
Years have passed, my technique did not change much, but now I see things differently. Today, I look at those pictures of Nablus from a new angle. I am more interested in the colour and the people than by action like I was at the time.
Recently, I revisited those pictures and I decided to reframe it in a way that suits me more today. I like to think they are better and this is the way I want to remember Nablus.
