My photographs portray life, the celebration of it and it’s inevitable end. My exploration focuses on and embraces places where something seems destined for failure or have gone beautifully wrong already. My camera is looking for the cracks in normality because this is where I see the light in life. Individually the images raise more questions than they answer but collectively the images depict a tale of a melancholic yet beautiful search, an image of one person’s journey and his intense view of the world. These images are shot all over the world but are tied together by the force of their emotional character more than the event or it’s geographic location. This work doesn’t consist of various photographic projects but is one big ongoing diary-like body of work. The series represents glimpses of my personal life and journeys through the last decade. This is an ongoing work.
