Turkish photographer Serdar Bilgili inaugurated his open-air exhibition, entitled Portraits of Nisantasi last August, the 14th. This open-air exhibition takes its quarters on the facade of a residential building in Stambouliot in renovation.
The exhibition celebrates the Turkish cultural heritage through 35 portraits of the Nisantasi neighborrhood inhabitants. All of them can be considered as living-proofs of social success. Some are famous, such as: Hayri Inönü, mayor of the district; the architect Mahmu Anlear; the actress Hatice Aslan; or the intellectual Levent Erden.
For the story, the exhibition concurs for the Guinness World Record in the category “World’s Largest Outdoor Photo Exhibition on a Building”. All the pictures cover the area of 4910 m2.
