These photos are shot in Italy during a vacation around maritime cities. The purpose was to examine the relationship between people and the landscape in a vacation/holiday atmosphere, which provoke a change of routine in other people’s life, tourists and – in particular – the citizens of the location. I shot 12 photos in black and white to create a sort of contrapposto between the dim light – which is typical of the summer season – and the high contrasts that the black and white choice enlight.
