The Swedish brand Ikea will sell high quality prints to its customers. The photographs will come from a selection of the works of the eight winners of the photographic manufacturer Hasselblad.
This decision is the result of research on housing, design, objects and their uses on the inhabitants of eight cities in eight different countries. The result would show a tendency of the generations born around the years 2000 for objects known as “emotional”, namely works of art or objects design. These objects would agree with the personality of the inhabitants.
Dmitry Ageev, Lars van der Goor, Hans Brand, Bára Prásilova, Ali Rajabi, Tom D. Jones and Joachim Schmeisser will therefore have their works on sale.
