All photos in this series are recursive as being screenshots of themselves. I eliminate tools of traditional photography like optics, cameras and such. Anyway pictures remain realistic in sense I actually shot them at least twice in certain time and place.
Magnifying with digital loupe does the same effect that Hyperbole does in poetry. It exaggerates something inside loupe circle and creates bias against everything that lays outside. But now photograph could be seen as abstract picture of some circle placed in some rectangle that are interrelated in the golden ratio proportion.
Such newly generated visual text introduces spectrum of interpretation from Asperger syndrome to Malevich’s Suprematism.
I also can add some personal motives bound with my Jewish origin, paradox of feeling jew and artist’s superiority and inferiority complex altogether.
