This series began during my first trip to the United States, which I decided to share through shadow and light. I wanted to free myself from reality to create my own story. This vision was fed by the photographic and cinematographic images that have long haunted me. I felt closer to the dream world in this twilight. In these photographs there is a kind of doubt, a mystery, which invites viewers to create their own stories.
Idrisse Hidara was born in 1986 in Namur, Belgium. He lives and works in Liège.
