Blink Media and the International Center of Photography (ICP) have teamed up to propose the first reading of the alumnis portfolios on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Portfolios reviews will be followed by an after-party. Participants will show their works to a jury of 19 critics, composed of curators, gallery owners and directors of museum institutions.
The first event is limited to Blink Media members and ICP students only, but the evening after-party will be opened to anyone in the photographic professional community. The event will be held at 250, Bowery Street, New York.
This collaboration between the two institutions is a first joint project. Blink Media is a connected platform bringing together story-tellers, bringing together more than 20,000 professionals from 180 countries. Their new service, Blink Concierge, aims to link companies with entrepreneurs for visual and narrative needs. With this partnership, ICP offers its students some opportunities of visibility trough exchanges with an economic world based on image and visual narrative.
