How long have you been a photographer?
59 years.

What do you think made you turn to photography?
It was either that or crime.

How do you perceive and use new technologies and social media in your work?
I don’t.

What are you currently working on?
A book of pictures shot in 1980 of logging and the land, as well as a retrospective book, 3 or 4 shows and farm work.

What advice would you give to the new generation of photographers today?
It is easy to be dismayed. The path has grown more complex, however if you are obsessed, you live with a blessing.

A few words about ICP and its place in the world of photography?
It’s tradition is noble and how it is adjusting to the future is clear.
