His name: Guillaume Amat. He has just won the € 10,000 prize for the “A Photographer for Eurazeo” prize for his series ” La Profondeur des Roches” ( the depth of the rocs).
For more than 15 years, Eurazeo has been committed through the acquisition of original works. At the origin of this craze, its two bosses Patrick Sayer and Philippe Audouin.
Since 2010, The company has strengthened this commitment by creating a prize. The ninth edition of the contest was on the theme “AUDACITY”.
Amat’s works were exhibited until February 15 at the Hotel de l’Industrie – 4, Place Saint-Germain-des-Près in Paris.
They will also be highlighted in Eurazeo’s annual report and displayed in the company’s premises.
Guillaume Amat, born in 1980 in Angers, participates in the collective project on the French landscape entitled “France liquid territory”. He received the first prize in the Photo d’Hôtel Author’s Photo Contest (PHPA) in 2010. A graduate of the MJM Art School, he continues to question the photographic representation using different devices, formats and sensitive surfaces.
