The Polyptych Prize organized by the Marseille Photographic Center was awarded to Léna Durr, Arina Essipowitsch and Brigitte Manoukian.
They are exhibited at the Galerie Sit Down in Paris until June 11.

The images from the Goldenage series by Léna Durr are as many encounters with old age and its consequences as they are perceived by contemporary Western society, loneliness and loss of autonomy.
During her discussions with the residents of a retirement home, the artist noted the absence of souvenirs distinguishing the domestic space.
Here, it is the word that conveys personal, family or professional memories and brings out a reminiscence that marks the encounter forever.
It is this memory that the artist materializes and reintroduces in the presence of the resident in the institutionalized space of the medical establishment.
This series of photographs extends and make more complex the work that Léna Durr accomplished in two previous sets: Teenage (2011-2012) of which we present some images and Pinup girls (2014).
