The Galerie Peter Kilchmann presents Paul Mpagi Sepuya‘s first personal exhibition in France, entitled Lustrer.
His work, both intimate and irreverent, focuses on figures close to him. The photographs are staged in his studio. The décor cites moments from history and the history of art, while at the same time being disrupted by very contemporary elements. The photographs are not retouched, giving pride of place to reality.
