The exhibition is called Le Japon en duo (Japan as a Duo). It brings together photos of Géraldine Lay and Marc Riboud until December 31, 2022.
One, Marc Riboud, in black and white, traveled to Japan in 1958 – series to (re) discover – would have been 100 years old in 2023. The other, 50, Géraldine Lay, in color, wandered at random four times three weeks (from 2016 to 2019) to discover this archipelago. Everyone faced with this unknown, without protocol and without premeditated expectations, let the fragility of their perception direct their discovery.
