« Monsieur Men », as many call him, gazes relentlessly on the world around him, a camera always at hand.
The land he cherishes , offers him the colors, the portraits and the stories that this great reporter, offers us like masterpieces.
The precision of his photography is almost unrealistic. Pierrot Men, takes the time for each one, he savored the expressions, the emotions, the light and the movement.
When “It” is there, he will be the first to deliver it.
The strength of ihispictures is in the flavor and the accuracy of his composition.
Reflections much more telling than the reflected model, or even these lights in the mists, revealing some almost unreal silhouettes.
All the magic of Pierrot Men is in this unconditional love for the other, or, for what nature offers him.
There you have it, a very nice way to come to terms with our environment, always optimistic. An insolated and developed vision, to keep this moment forever.
Around blacks and whites, but also a few colors, like a painter, he puts down his white square and waits.
Like this man and this little girl with bare feet, treading the warm earthl of their culture. Him, thinking about the next growth , she, looking for the gentleness of a grandfather.
The power of this empathy which makes, “Mr. MEN” is palpable with each achievement.
Like some books or films, you never come out unscathed when you look at the photos of Pierrot Men.
In the exhibition at the Galerie de Toulouse, we wanted to bring together two great humanists, Pierrot Men and Jacques Placé so that they can discuss together this pivotal moment that we are experiencing.
So that scholasticism in the literal sense of the term, “leisure devoted to study”, this idleness finds its true origin, that which nourishes knowledge.
