We have two special features for you this week. On Tuesday, Laurence Cornet will offer an overview of contemporary Iranian photography, and Thursday will be devoted to Art Kane, one of the most important color photographers of the ‘60s and ‘70s, completely forgotten today. We’ll be paying him tribute with articles by Duane Michals, Pete Turner, Henry Leutwyler and Julian Seddon. Wednesday we’ll be taking a closer look at the Gagosian Gallery exhibition In the Studio: Photographs, curated by former MoMA director photo department Peter Galassi.
