It is not in 2020 but by 2019 that 50% of women artists photographers are represented by the 100 participating exhibitors at the 8th edition of fotofever Paris from November 8 to 10 at the Carrousel du Louvre. Cécile Schall, founder and director of fotofever, is delighted to have achieved this goal with a year in advance. This year, the contemporary photography fair welcomes 92 women artists out of the 184 artists presented. fotofever is undoubtedly the first contemporary art fair to reach this objective, which reflects the growing number of women in the younger generation of today’s artists.
Since 2011, fotofever reveals and accompanies emerging artists from contemporary photography and encourages the collection by the originality of its START TO COLLECT program.
