The Center Pompidou appointed Florian Ebner as the Cabinet of Photography chief-curator. He will come after Clément Chéroux, who recently left for SF MoMa. Florian Ebner will take office on the 1st of July, 2017.
Since 2012, the new Chief-Curator was directing the Folkwang Museum in Essen. In 2015, he took over the German Pavilion of the Venice Biennale. Floria Ebner graduated from École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (ENSP) in Arles. He later returned to the city of Camargue, as a curator and member of the jury for the festival(Discovery Award). His experience and knowledge in photography and contemporary art will probably merge in his forthcoming multidisciplinary exhibitions.
