This new festival will be held from August 12th to 29th in many places in the village of Fontvieille in Provence, invested by a hundred images showing the symbolism of water. For this, 12 photographers from Fontvieille, APPA and the whole of the Pays d’Arles are exhibiting their creations. They will be distributed in shops and cafes in the village, in the cinema, in the Saint-Pierre church and the municipal halls which are also used.
During the inauguration, on Thursday August 12th, at the Eden Cinema, the presentation of the program will be followed by the screening at 7 pm of the film by Bernard Gilles: “Clic Clac Clergue” the 52-minute film that pays homage to Lucien Clergue, the creator of the Rencontres Internationales Photographiques d’Arles and who was the honorary president of the association of photographers of the Pays d’Arles.

In addition, still at the Eden Cinema on Thursday 19 and 26 August at 7 p.m., the public will be able to discover projections of photographs offered by exhibitors.
Young photography also has its place because a room in the village is devoted to the work of photographers under 30 years old. The public prize will be awarded to them by the Regional President of the French Photography Federation on Sunday, August 29th.
