The Hardelot Chateau, in Condette in France’s Pas de Calais region, is showing a previously unseen exhibition of landscape photographs by Nan Goldin. These are real contemporary landscapes, sensitive and thoughtful, taken during her many journeys across the world, passing through the United Kingdom and France. Nan Goldin opens her secret garden to us where each photograph is a personal story. This series is evidence of her growing interest in self-knowledge, an introspective journey that continuously enriches her. Today she invites us to share her private photographic journal in search of freedom and immortality and offers us a personal reading of nature, a journey into a contemporary imagination.
