It has been an eventful past year, from births to rebirths and back. The birth of a child is an experience filled with emotions, as was the rebirth of L‘Oeil de la Photographie. But lucky for you L’Oeil does not require midnight feedings or diaper changes.
So on that note, Grazia Germany pays hommage to the mommas on the move, with model Celia Becker keeping it real for Marc Philbert in the magazine’s latest issue.
Smoother moves can be attributed to this shot by Hasse Nielsen of model Charlie Bredal in Cover magazine’s latest issue, or well rounded moves in Ellen von Unwerth’s image of Liya Kedebe in the Sunday Times Style‘s November issue.
All that moving has certainly gotten some of us hungry for rare treats, especially model Liu Wen on this shoot by Mario Testino for Vogue China’s recent 10th anniversary issue. Though it can be exhausting too, as seen in iD’s winter issue by Richard Bush of Cara Delevingne.
Taking a rest can be good for the mind, as demonstrated by “Frances Ha” actress Greta Gerwig in front of model and photographer Helena Christensen (still with me?). Good company is very important for that matter – just ask Vincent Peters in his set up for these shots of Maryna Linchuk for Vogue Russia December.
And Kate Moss proves that traveling can be profound when you’re in good company, as illustrated by Mario Testino in American Vogue‘s December issue, while model Liu Wen simply puts her best face forward for photographer Li Qi in ELLE China’s recently feted 25th anniversary issue.
But if things get too overwhelming, just put your hands over your face and work on your angles, just like Rihanna did for Inez and Vinoodh in 032c‘s Winter issue. Or follow Daria Werbowy’s lead and simply close your eyes and make a wish for photographer Nico in the latest Madame Figaro.
