Tillmans made a name for himself in the 1990s by photographing the acid house scene for the magazine I-D. With Juergen Teller and Terry Richardson, Tillmans formed the magazine’s holy trinity,  casual and unconventional, creating that style that has remained dominant for 20 Years. ►  Tributes to Maya Angelou and Robert Capa at Magnumphoto
Respected American author and poet Maya Angelou has passed away at the age of 86. Her autobiographies are well known, describing personal experiences while growing up in the Jim Crowe South. Angelou was active in the Civil Rights Movement and was a prolific public speaker for most of her life. Her telling of the African American experience has long been required reading for US school children. During her lifetime Angelou received many honors most notably a Pulitzer Prize and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. [Photo 14]

Asrul Dwi is a young Indonesian photographer. He lives in Jakarta. For him, photography is another way to express himself and what he feels. Self-taught, Dwi prefers to experiment rather than worry about technical issues.
