Evan Epstein uses images to compel the viewer to reconsider. His perceptions of nature, monuments, icons and the urbane create visual paths for all out wonder. Series-1 profoundly resets how we intersect and see the world itself.
As a largely self-taught artist, Epstein brings a distinctive and unconventional perspective to everyday scenes, a vision that has garnered him multiple accolades, including three prestigious Gold Keys from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Notably, two of his Gold Key photographs were displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Scholastic Exhibition, showcasing his talent on one of the world’s most renowned stages. Epstein’s work has graced the pages of NYC Patch, earning the title of “New York Picture of the Day” on numerous occasions. His striking images have also been featured as cover art for The Plumber’s Daughter sheet music and also for a new album on the esteemed Lexicon Classics label. Epstein currently studies at Harvard University.
