PARADOXES by Olivier Muhlhoff, guest of honour.
The turbulent times we live in are shattering our habits and restricting our freedom.
What mark will it leave on our minds and our lives?
The series “Paradoxes” presents improbable scenes in which reality has folded around characters, isolated in their own worlds.
To create it, Olivier Mühlhoff drew inspiration from the works of M.C. Escher who marveled at his youth. The absurd is there, in these changing worlds completely bordered by illusory borders, without fail.
What are these characters doing? What do they perceive of their reality? Where is the reality in these representations?
The graphic repetitions and extreme geometry of the scenes reassure and disturb at the same time.
But isn’t this the characteristic of all confinement, even imaginary?

RETROSPECTIVE AUNOS ROSSI – Photographs – From portrait to cover — Jean-Claude Aunos Rossi
Franco-Argentine born, Jean-Claude Aunos-Rossi goes to journalism after having taken his classes at weddings of the good Parisian society.
“It was easy, with people I arranged flowers, things in front of the fireplace, I made a good living, then I moved on to something else…”
As a young journalist and photographer, he began his career at the Filipacchi publishing house, making portraits of musicians and singers for Culture and Claviers Magazines magazines.
“Self-taught, I met the greatest in the federation of my association, illustrators, reporters, advertisers, Doisneau, Cartier Bresson… .”
This work has allowed him to interact with celebrities of the show, concerts, studio portraits, recordings, and a varied artistic world.
– In 1985 he left Egypt first for the AFP, then became correspondent for the Gamma agency. During this period, he discovered the Middle East, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Yemen and Chad. There, he photographed personalities such as Arafat, Mandela, Clinton, Chirac, Mitterrand, Sarkozy, and Hussein of Jordan, whose marriage of his son to Princess Rania he covered.
Accredited by President Mubarak, he will follow him on all his journeys.
His photographs will be distributed throughout the French and international press, daily newspapers, magazines and magazines.
– In 2014 he stopped his reporting activity and shared his pictures between Carcassonne and Argentina where he accompanied small groups of photography enthusiasts.
