One day we’ll spend in the capital of the Jbala Berbers, in the blue town Chefchaouen in the Rif. And we’ll visit some historical places of Moroccan Jews that played an important role in the development of the city.

Amsél lives between Zurich, Switzerland, and Tangier, Morocco. In 2010, together with professor and poet Florian Vetsch, she published the book “Tanger Trance”, Benteli Verlag, Bern. In December 2016, her novel “Wiedersehen in Tanger” (“On se reverra à Tanger”) was published by Die Brotsuppe, Biel. In 2020, her long-term work on the Jbala, the mountain people of northern Morocco, was published by Till Schaap Edition, Bern. Amsél also works as a therapist and coach, using photography as a tool.
