The 6th edition of the Martagny Photo Festival will be held from June 17 to September 3.
This year, eight photographers will be honored: Maud Audouin, Héloïse Barré, Thomas Paudeleux, Xavier Lambours, Thomas Pesquet, Kraaps, Florent Devauchel and Frédéric Grimaud. More than 160 prints from renowned photographers will also be exhibited outdoors.
The festival features Xavier Lambours (for a Carte blanche), Thomas Pesquet (and his series Objectif Terre), Thomas Paudeleux (and his series Derniers jours à Kaboul) and Maud Audoin (En marge).
On the festival
The project was initiated by the Visions d’Ailleurs association, which brings together photography enthusiasts and people who love encounters, with the aim of highlighting the art of photography and the richness of the region, with the participation and dynamism of everyone: the inhabitants of Martagny who get involved in the festival throughout the summer, partner companies who get financially involved and the support of the Normandy Region, the Eure Department and of course the commune of Martagny. A unique opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the beautiful region of the Vexin Normand, on the edge of the Lyons national forest. This land of emotions offers to all its visitors and in any season a natural spectacle of a rare beauty, where each moment is an invitation to be intoxicated.
