Following its successes in 2019 and 2023, the Photoclub Paris Val-de-Bièvre is organising the 3rd edition of the Urban Photo Race (UPR) Paris in April 2025.
URBAN PHOTO RACE (UPR) PARIS >>> Saturday 5 April 2025 <<<
The UPR is a photographic treasure hunt in Paris intramuros, for photo lovers, amateurs and professionals.
There will be four themes, top secret until the last minute, as are the various checkpoints, which will navigate you through town.
Eight hours to translate the themes into street photography, to(re)discover Paris, get creative and meet other photographers.
You don’t have to be an athlete or a runner. Everyone goes at their own pace and decides their own route – just make sure to be on time at the checkpoints. The race can be run alone, in pairs or with a group of friends.
There are prizes to be won, worth a total of € 700.

Important: As registration and both the information regarding the themes and checkpoint locations are dematerialised, it is essential to have a smartphone on race day. Be sure it is fully charged and bring along an external battery.

– Saturday 5 April 2025
– 8 hours, 4 checkpoints, 4 themes
– Top start and first checkpoint: 11 am (registration starts at 10 pm) – Final and last checkpoint: 7 pm
– 4 themes, 3 photos per theme (4×3=12 photos)
– Sunday 6 April 2025 before 1 pm: send the 12 photos
– 3 independent judges, over € 700 to be won (3 best photographers, 4 best themes, 3 jury’s favourites) – All types of camera are welcome, including smartphones
