From September 6 to 8, New York will host the ICP Photobook Fest 2024, an event dedicated to celebrating the photobook and visual culture through a rich program of workshops, book signings and artist talks. On Saturday, September 7, Joshua Charow, Neal Slavin, and Mayan Toledano will be present at the Artbook|DAP booth to sign copies of their works.
This event marks a significant moment for the three artists: Neal Slavin will present his book When Two or More Are Gathered Together to the U.S. public for the first time; Joshua Charow will celebrate the third reprint of his book Loft Law. The Last of New York City’s Original Artist Lofts just a few months after its release. Toledano will sign her first monograph No Mames, offering an intimate and sincere portrayal of Mexico City’s queer creative community, captured with a powerful eye and extraordinary tenderness that perfectly embodies the book’s title.
Book signings:
– Saturday, Sept. 7, 1 p.m. Mayan Toledano, No Mames
– Saturday, Sept. 7, 2.30 p.m. Neal Slavin, When Two or More Are Gathered Together
– Saturday, Sept. 7, 3 p.m. Joshua Charow, Loft Law. The Last of New York City’s Original Artist Lofts
