Every summer, you can see 1500 images in over a hundred large format exhibitions in 20 stunning outdoor settings. Local and international photos, from professional and amateur photographers, can be found in the hills and villages of Razès, Piège, Malepère and Lauragais.

In the hills between Arles and Perpignan, two famously photogenic cities, more than 80 photographers have exhibitions in 20 communes.
The theme of this year’s open-air galleries is “A world in transition.”
A tricky exercise for still photo enthusiasts, representing a world in motion, provoking some animated discussion for the judges! That’s the beauty of art and the different perspectives and interpretations it provokes.
Come and form your own point of view and discover these new exhibitions and their stunning rural settings. And best of all, no risk of last minute cancellation as they’re all open air.

Every year, photographers put their benevolent gaze on a village participating in the Chemins de photos. This residence allows to create an animation around the image and to accumulate a new, immaterial memory of a rural commune at the beginning of the 21st century. Portraits, landscapes, reports on the activities, scenes of life taken on the spot, so many images remaining in the memory of the inhabitants that we thank for their participation always enthusiastic.
